Imagined Futures Program
The educational outreach program developed by the Consortium is titled Imagined Futures. It has been co-designed by teachers, researchers and universities with a focus on supporting students' literacy, metacognition and encouraging conversations about post-school options.
Research
The collaborative nature of the program gives us the opportunity to conduct a large-scale, robust and feasible research study. The research conducted seeks to explore how the Imagined Futures program might impact the capacity of:
- students, to imagine their future selves and aspire for post-school education and careers
- schools and university partners, to collaborate with one another
- school teachers, to facilitate students' literacy, metacognition and educational imaginaries
Research is embedded into the design of the program and each university will evaluate its own component of the program based on a shared Theory of Change and evaluation framework.
